Our client seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a high-visibility variable compensation implementation while supporting several smaller initiatives. The role requires a confident communicator who can partner with business stakeholders, navigate complex dynamics by sticking to facts, and drive delivery in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with Agile delivery teams is preferred.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
  • Run complex projects from initiation through close.
  • Determine resource needs and build implementation schedules.
  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Apply structured project management methodology to manage scope, resources, budget, timelines, and inter-project dependencies.
  • Guide and direct project teams while managing risks and issues.
  • Learn business context to align technology-supported requirements with company strategies.
  • Communicate project status to the Program Manager and leadership.

Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of mid to large-scale project management experience.
  • Proven experience with PMI framework across SDLC variations.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
