IT AUDITOR (Permanent)
Our client, a stable and growing organization with headquarters in WNY, is looking to add an IT Auditor to their team.
Responsibilities:
  • Audit the effectiveness/accuracy of the company's IT activities to highlight any key risks
  • Analyze identified risks and determine if they are being managed appropriately through internal controls
  • Ensure internal controls are designed and operating effectively
  • Precisely document audits and deliver findings to upper management
  • Regularly conduct testing on the IT General Computer Controls to ensure compliance is maintained
  • Identify shortcomings with internal controls and offer educated recommendations to strengthen and improve them while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Regularly participate in special projects, often acting as a consultant and offering expert advice
  • Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
  • Position is full-time, direct hire
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 WFH; standard 40-hour work week (company prides themselves on providing an excellent work/life balance)
  • $90,000 - $110,000 annually depending on experience; annual bonus potential (regular annual merit increases)

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (transcripts must be provided)
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or willingness to pursue
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in IT/IT Audit space
  • Strong computer skills: MSOffice, Microsoft Power BI
  • Familiarity with governance & control frameworks: NIST, COBIT, and/or ITIL
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organization skills, analytical, and time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
