Job Description Position Title: IT Project Manager / Scrum Master Location: Phoenix, AZ (On-Site/Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Overview A client in the financial services industry is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / Scrum Master to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This individual will play a key role in leading IT infrastructure initiatives while driving Agile delivery practices across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of project management discipline, Scrum leadership, and financial acumen, with proven experience managing budgets and delivering complex IT infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects (networks, systems, cloud, and enterprise platforms) Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) Partner with stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and proactively drive resolution Ensure alignment between Agile delivery practices and traditional project management governance Track and report on project progress, KPIs, and financial performance to leadership Drive continuous improvement across Agile processes and team performance Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management and/or Scrum Master roles Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects (servers, networks, cloud, etc.) Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, financials, and forecasting Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working within financial services or highly regulated industries Preferred Qualifications Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) PMP or similar project management certification Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or MS Project Exposure to hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments.
