Position Overview

Phoenix Staff is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Migration Manager to lead a large-scale infrastructure transformation initiative. This individual will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of a complex IT environment migration, supporting the transition from a shared technology ecosystem to a dedicated infrastructure model.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical project management expertise with a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, identity management, and cloud-based services. This role will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure a successful migration while minimizing disruption to operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, prioritization, and execution of enterprise IT infrastructure migration initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to coordinate multiple migration workstreams, including networking, servers, infrastructure, applications, and data migration activities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related activities and cross-functional coordination.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Lead project management functions including risk management, issue resolution, dependency tracking, and status reporting.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers regarding project deliverables, contractual updates, and migration-related requirements.
  • Assist with operational planning, organizational readiness, and process improvement efforts associated with infrastructure modernization.
  • Prepare and deliver project communications, executive updates, presentations, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Partner with technical teams to support migration planning, implementation activities, and post-migration stabilization efforts.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure, migration, or transformation projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of Microsoft enterprise technologies and related infrastructure platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft server administration, endpoint management, identity and access management, and security technologies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise networking, data center environments, cloud services, and infrastructure operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams in a complex environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Experience developing project roadmaps, managing project risks, and driving successful project delivery.
