The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, operations, and ongoing support of the critical technology infrastructure that powers Red Bull's new 24/7 logistics warehouse in Concord, NC, which is expected to be fully operational by 2028. This role ensures the reliability, security, performance, and availability of core infrastructure services, including networking, wireless systems, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud connectivity, and data protection. Partnering closely with warehouse operations, global IT teams, engineering partners, and external service providers, the Manager, IT Infrastructure helps deliver scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions that support warehouse operations, automation systems, business applications, and future business growth.

Job Description

MAJOR ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE ACHIEVEMENT OF KEY RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES

Lead the day-to-day operation, monitoring, performance, and availability of infrastructure services supporting a 24/7 warehouse environment.

Maintain reliable, resilient, and secure infrastructure platforms supporting warehouse operations, automation systems, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and business continuity.

Build strong relationships with local business leaders, operations teams, warehouse stakeholders, global IT counterparts, and service providers.

Define and maintain infrastructure processes, standards, and operating procedures aligned with Red Bull global standards and industry best practices.

Lead incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, and service recovery for critical infrastructure disruptions.

Review and approve infrastructure-related changes impacting business operations.

Support infrastructure strategy development through continuous improvement, modernization, and scalability initiatives.

Lead infrastructure lifecycle planning, technology refreshes, and risk mitigation activities.

Manage vendor and service partner performance, service levels, and contract lifecycle activities.

Develop, maintain, and test business continuity, disaster recovery, and restoration plans to support rapid service recovery during major incidents.

KEY RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES (WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE) 

Critical infrastructure services support uninterrupted 24/7 warehouse operations with minimal unplanned downtime.

Infrastructure services meet defined SLAs, performance objectives, security standards, and business expectations.

Processes, standards, and controls are consistently followed and aligned with global IT requirements.

Infrastructure platforms remain scalable, secure, resilient, and ready to support future warehouse automation and business growth.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering and operations, including leadership or management responsibility.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical, 24/7 infrastructure environments in logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or similar operational settings.
  • Strong experience with enterprise networking, including routing, switching, firewalls, wireless technologies, and WAN connectivity.
  • Experience managing server, storage, virtualization, hybrid cloud, and data protection platforms.
  • Experience leading infrastructure operations, incident response, change management, lifecycle planning, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing vendors, managed service providers, service levels, and support contracts.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL service management, business continuity, and disaster recovery principles.
  • Preferred experience supporting warehouse automation, OT/IT convergence, industrial networking, AGV/LGV systems, WMS platforms, or IIoT environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa. The base salary range for this position is $112,000- $168,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
