IT Infrastructure Lead
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy scalable infrastructure environments (including on-prem and hybrid server setups) that support core business functions.
  • Oversee and maintain network systems, server environments (Windows/Linux), storage platforms, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Configure, optimize, and support virtualization technologies such as vSphere and vCenter.
  • Administer core services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
  • Enforce security standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices while proactively monitoring performance to reduce outages.
  • Partner with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure planning aligns with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with other IT and business leaders to align infrastructure strategy with organizational goals.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines for internal use.
  • Mentor and support Helpdesk staff through training and knowledge sharing.

IT Infrastructure Lead
Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable discipline.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • In-depth expertise in server management, networking, virtualization, and information security fundamentals.
  • Practical experience with enterprise platforms including Active Directory, VMware environments, SAN/NAS storage, and firewall technologies.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a focus on system optimization and performance tuning.
  • Experience utilizing automation tools and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline practices.
  • Proven track record of managing projects and leading cross-functional teams effectively.
