Tillman FiberCo is a portfolio company of Tillman Global Holdings, a holding company focused on building premier digital infrastructure businesses globally. We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced GIS Analyst to join our team. 


Responsibilities and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing geospatial data related to the proposed OSP design, creating maps and reports, and coordinating with other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Interface with Internal/External teams regarding Market Analytics in Support of issued Market Order
  • Audit and Maintain SFU/MDU OSP as-built records/Permits/Fiber testing/JHA conformance payment records in Sitetracker.
  • Create maps, reports, and visualizations to assist with OSP design, planning, and permitting processes and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze geospatial data related to the existing/proposed OSP designs/permits, such as maps, aerial imagery, land-use data, and other relevant data in Qgis.
  • Responsible for forecasting engineering design progress and performing KPI/SLA Data Analytics regarding engineering performance.
  • Analyze collected GIS data to provide insights into the feasibility, cost, and design impact of the proposed OSP fiber builds.
  • Create maps, reports, and visualizations to help inform the OSP design process and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date GIS maps, drawings, and related data for OSP designs and As-builts.
  • Collaborate with OSP engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and accurately capture the project requirements and goals in Tillman’s GIS system.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience working with GIS tools and software, such as ArcGIS or QGIS
  • 3 years of Experience in OSP fiber optic design.
  • Highly skilled in development of databases and deploying map services.
