The Associate IT Architect is a hands-on technical leadership role. You will direct, design, and support software projects across ChenMed, partnering with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. • Project support: Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, break multi-month initiatives into actionable work for the team, identify risks, and support projects from conception through production.
  • Mentorship: Coach and mentor software developers on architecture, design patterns, coding practices, and professional growth.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work across product, engineering, operations, and business teams to align technical solutions with organizational needs.
  • Decision ownership: Make pragmatic technical decisions, document rationale, and move initiatives forward with minimal escalation.
  • Quality and standards: Promote engineering best practices and ensure designs account for non-functional requirements (security, scalability, reliability, performance, and cost) alongside maintainability, observability, and testability.
  • Adaptive approach: Staying ahead of emerging industry trends and evolving technologies to proactively inform and adapt technical decisions in line with modern ways of working.
