Job description

The IT Portfolio and Governance Analyst supports enterprise IT portfolio management, governance, and project oversight. This role ensures IT investments align with organizational priorities and comply with federal and agency requirements, including Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) processes. The position provides portfolio reporting, governance support, compliance monitoring, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience supporting CDC or HHS IT portfolio, program, or project management.
  • Experience with CDC CPIC, EPLC, IT governance, and portfolio management processes.
  • Knowledge of OMB, HHS, and CDC IT investment management policies and reporting requirements.
  • Experience developing CPIC/EPLC documentation, executive reports, and governance artifacts.
  • Experience monitoring project cost, schedule, risks, milestones, and compliance for federal IT investments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience supporting CDC or HHS IT programs.
  • Experience supporting CDC IT governance reviews, Operational Analysis (OA), and enterprise portfolio management.
  • PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.
