Job Description
Our client is looking for an IT Manager
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the technology strategy, delivery, and ongoing support of claims systems within a modern, cloud-based environment. This role will serve as the primary owner of Guidewire ClaimsCenter,
partnering closely with business stakeholders to drive system enhancements, stability, and overall operational efficiency.
This position combines handson technical leadership with team management responsibilities, overseeing application development,
quality assurance, and project delivery while ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, configuration, and ongoing support of Guidewire Claims Center,
    including enhancements, integrations, and upgrades
  • Partner with Claims and business leadership to translate business needs into
    scalable technology solutions
  • Manage and prioritize application development and support activities across
    internal teams and external vendors
  • Oversee system performance, availability, and production support to ensure a
    stable user experience
  • Drive best practices across development, testing, release management, and
    change control
  • Lead project delivery efforts, including planning, resource management, and
    execution of key initiatives
  • Ensure proper documentation, system governance, and adherence to audit and
    security requirements
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for technical team
    members
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, and user experience

Qualifications
  • Experience working with Guidewire ClaimsCenter, including configuration and
    support in a cloud-based environment
  • Strong understanding of insurance claims processes and systems
  • Proven experience leading application development or IT teams, including vendors
    and cross-functional resources
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, and modern application architectures
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, release
    management)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with both
    technical and business stakeholders

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically 5+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on enterprise applications and
    team leadership
