Job Description:

IT System Administrators are responsible for the implementation and technical support of Enterprise's server infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to the support of Windows Server OS, Linux OS, Hyper -V, VMWare ESX, Office 365, Azure, Storage, and Networking systems. IT Systems Administrators will use tools such as vCenter, SolarWinds, Active Directory administration tools, and PowerShell to manage the environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Responsible for Level 3 support of server operating systems and related software and hardware.
  • Troubleshoots Enterprise level applications and systems.
  • Responsible for installation, configuration, support and maintenance of Enterprise level tools such as SolarWinds, CyberArk, Alero, and Devolutions.
  • Document system process flows and identifies areas of potential optimization.
  • Collaborate with IT Automation Engineer to automate processes such as server provisioning and decommissioning, defining systems requirements and designs.
  • Provides Level 3 support to the IT Service Desk and IT Systems Administrators Level I and II
  • Responsible for administration of Office 365 tenants and cloud services, such as Azure
  • Apply an automation-first mindset by identifying opportunities to streamline monitoring, diagnostics, problem remediation, and routine processes.
  • Technical and/or Project lead on IT Infrastructure projects such as email and Active Directory domain migrations, new technology deployments and Proof of Concept projects.
  • Installs, configures, and decommissions servers following Server Lifecycle Provisioning processes.
  • Configure systems for high availability including strategies for back-up and recovery and load balancing
  • Work with security team to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities reported by security tools managed and maintained by the IT Security team.
  • Provide support and maintenance for license servers supporting 2D and 3D CAD applications.
  • Support and troubleshooting of ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with the local sites and networking team with physical layer troubleshooting.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Specifications:

  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills are required.
  • Excellent written, oral communications, and soft skills are required
  • Experience supporting and maintaining datacenter and cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of scripting tools such as JSON and PowerShell
  • Ability to work independently

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator or equivalent role

Supervisory/Responsibility:

  • Reports to the Converting & Paper Platform Infrastructure Leader

Work Environment:

This is an office position associated with a manufacturing facility. Although the employee may spend a portion of his/her time in the office area, the employee's essential job duties may also require the employee to spend a portion of his/her time in the manufacturing area. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in the manufacturing area.

Position Type:

This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs. This position is required to be in the office 5 days a week.

Travel:

Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required, primarily to Wisconsin office locations (up to 10%).
