Wisconsin Public Service Corp, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Project Controls Analyst in our Green Bay, WI or Milwaukee, WI location.

This position will support projects and programs that are part of WEC Energy Group's multi-billion dollar electric generation capital investment plan, which will power economic growth and provide energy reliability in the state of Wisconsin. 

This is a job family (Associate Project Controls Analyst, Project Controls Analyst, Senior Project Controls Analyst) where experience is the determining factor.

Job Summary

The Project Controls Analyst is responsible for cost and/or schedule management of projects of moderate scope and complexity and providing support to field and department staff.  Responsibilities may include: performing analysis and developing recommendations to address schedule and/or cost performance. Assignments may include creating complex project schedules, preparing cost reports, analyzing data and preparing ad-hoc reporting for project management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for cost and/or schedule management of projects of moderate scope and complexity and providing support to field and department staff.  Responsibilities may include: performing analysis and developing recommendations to address schedule and/or cost performance. Assignments may include creating complex project schedules, preparing cost reports, analyzing data and preparing ad-hoc reporting for project management
  • Schedule Management: develop and maintain resource loaded project schedules, including identifying areas where mitigating actions are necessary. Perform analysis and work with stakeholders on schedule performance. Participate in schedule management discussions and makes recommendations to influence decision
  • Cost Management: analyze reports and discuss cost performance with stakeholders. Review actual costs, prepare forecasts for multiple projects, and identify areas where mitigating actions are necessary.  Participate in cost management discussions and make recommendations to influence decisions
Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Construction Management 

 Associate Project Controls Analyst:

  • 0-2 yrs. relevant project controls experience

Project Controls Analyst:

  • 2+ years relevant project controls experience
  • 2+ years' Experience with various computer software, specifically Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. Preferred experience with PowerPlan, PeopleSoft, SAP, Primavera P6, and/or Microsoft Access
  • 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience by leading projects and/or teams

Senior Project Controls Analyst: 

  • 5+ years relevant project controls experience
  • 5+ years' Experience with various computer software, specifically Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. Preferred experience with PowerPlan, PeopleSoft, SAP, Primavera P6, and/or Microsoft Access
  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience by leading projects and/or teams

End Date: 07/21/2026 

Pay Range Minimum:  $68,436.68 

Pay Range Maximum:  $135,761.08 

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.  At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
