Positions: Contracted MTSS Behavior Support ISS Room at SMS
Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Providing intensive intervention to students in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 setting that reviews classroom expectations based on the district's MTSS system.
  2. Reinforce Tier 1 classroom expectations outside the general education classroom
  3. Use district tools, such as Navigate360, to assign intervention related activities to students needing behavior support
  4. Support goal-setting for students who need reinforcement in classroom expectations
  5. Review progress on previously set behavior and/or SEL goals with applicable teacher(s) and/or administrator(s) to determine next steps
  6. Generating reports from the SEL assessment to create groups for intervention activities
  7. Work with social workers, counselors, administrators, and teachers to identify strategies for students to be successful in various settings
  8. Collect and share behavioral data on interventions
  9. Participate in Student Success Meetings when appropriate

Qualifications:
  1. Michigan substitute permit
  2. Associates degree or minimum 60 credit hours required
  3. Bachelor's degree preferred
  4. Previous experience working with school aged children

Working Schedule and Rate of Pay:
$175/ day
