Our clients are seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals in the Westland and Garden City areas for the 2026/2027 School Year, starting at $18/hr depending on contractor's qualifications, availability, and skill.
CLIENT'S SUMMARY OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Helps prepare, collect and set-up materials for student participation, following teacher direction
* Provides instructional, behavioral, or physical assistance to students individually or in small groups at the direction of the teacher to reinforce and follow up instruction
* Assists with large group activities as drill work, reading aloud, and storytelling
* Maintains daily activity logs for your assigned student (s)
* Alerts regular teacher to any problem or special information about the individual student(s)
* Serves as the chief source of information for the assigned students to help any substitute teacher assigned in the absence of the regular teacher
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
* Experience working with Special Needs Children highly preferred.
* Must be able to pass state and national background checks.
