Description
Maxxima is a growing LED lighting and electrical products company serving consumer and heavy-duty transportation markets. As the company's primary quality systems subject matter expert, you will lead audits, CAPA, management reviews, compliance initiatives, continuous improvement efforts across the organization, while also training employees on quality and compliance processes. This highly visible individual contributor role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain certification readiness and drive the ongoing evolution of our QMS. Reporting directly to a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance, strengthening quality systems, and supporting the company's continued growth.
The ideal candidate has experience owning an ISO 9001-certified QMS and is comfortable evaluating and integrating compliance frameworks and certifications into the existing QMS structure, including TISAX, C-TPAT, and other customer or regulatory requirements as the business evolves.
This role is ideal for a quality professional who enjoys building, improving, and owning systems rather than managing a large quality department.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, or related roles
  • Direct experience owning or leading an ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Experience leading internal, external, supplier, and certification audits
  • Strong knowledge of CAPA, root cause analysis, document control, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proven ability to work independently as the primary quality systems resource
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing or product-based environment
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or product-based industries

Preferred Qualifications:
  • ISO Management Representative
  • Experience supporting or leading TISAX implementation or certification activities
  • Experience integrating multiple compliance frameworks into a single management system
  • Familiarity with UL, ETL, DOT, or similar regulatory standards
  • Lead Auditor certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, TISAX)
  • Experience with QT9 QMS

Why Join Maxxima:
  • Opportunity to own and lead an established ISO 9001-certified QMS
  • High visibility role with direct impact on company compliance and growth
  • Opportunity to influence future certification and compliance initiatives
  • Collaborative environment with direct access to leadership
  • Growing organization with long-term career growth potential

Benefits:
  • 401(k) with generous company match
  • Highly subsidized medical
  • Dental and vision coverage
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Paid time off

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000
