Job description

Pure Air Filtration, LLC (“Company”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cleanwater1, Inc., a global provider of on-site hypochlorite generation equipment, polymer activation systems, chemical feed systems, air purification and odor control equipment, and potable water mixing and treatment systems serving the water and wastewater treatment industries. Cleanwater1, Inc., Inc., through its various operating subsidiaries, is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing companies in the water infrastructure market.
Pure Air is seeking a full-time Process Engineer to ensure the effectiveness, consistency, and compliance of operational processes across the organization through structured quality assurance methodologies and robust process engineering practices. This position reports to the Director of Technical Programs and assists with process control, ISO compliance, root cause analysis, ERP quality oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Job Functions
  • Maintain and audit SOPs and ISO documentation across all departments using SharePoint, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Coordinate ISO DEKRA audits, recertification efforts, and support leadership through MREV meetings and quality documentation reviews.
  • Conduct process audits, walkthroughs, and observation-based reviews to enforce adherence to standards and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts using structured methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
  • Develop, implement, and track Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), ensuring timely and validated closure of issues.
  • Investigate supplier-related quality concerns and coordinate Vendor Corrective Action Requests (CARs) with internal teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to promote process ownership, identify inefficiencies, and mitigate quality risks.
  • Support development of inspection criteria and in-process quality verification activities.
  • Ensure all manufacturing and lab equipment is calibrated, documented, and maintained in compliance with ISO standards.
  • Perform time studies, bottleneck analyses, and KPI-based evaluations to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, track results, and maintain improvement logs.
  • Audit ERP (Odoo) processes to ensure data integrity, traceability, and alignment with quality and compliance requirements.
  • Support resolution of ERP-related quality issues and document workflows aligned with ISO and internal controls.
  • Prepare teams for internal and external audits, support audit execution, and ensure closure of findings.
  • Monitor process and quality KPIs (e.g., first-pass yield, deviations) and lead improvement projects based on trend analysis.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations with focus on quality, ISO compliance, or auditing.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 9001 standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Experience with problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, Pareto analysis).
  • Proven ability in CAPA management and root cause analysis facilitation.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Odoo).
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive quality-focused behaviors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience participating in ISO audits (internal or third-party).
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt certification.
  • Familiarity with control plans, PFMEA, and digital audit tools.
  • Experience with process mapping and industrial time study techniques.
  • Experience improving ERP workflows related to quality and operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement practical improvements.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus; and
  • Ability to look at computer monitors for much of the workday.

This is a non-exempt position. Compensation is dependent on skill level. The base salary range for this position is $75,000 and $90,000 annually. Benefits package and incentives are provided. We generally offer employees working 21 hours per work or more medical, dental, vision, along with voluntary ancillary benefits. The Company has a 401(k)-match program and has company-paid life and AD amp;D insurance available for eligible employees.
