Job description

JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full-time Quality Manager to support Picatinny Arsenal, LRC Maintenance, Supply, and Transportation services that support the installation's mission.


Salary:Commensurate with experience


Start Date: Aug 30, 2026


Place of Performance: Picatinny Arsenal, NJ


Hours of Operation: The core hours for the LRC are 0700-1530 Monday-Friday/ except federal holidays. May be required to work outside of core hours as required.


Duties and Responsibilities:

The Quality Manager (QM) will develop, implement, manage, and maintain effective Quality policies and procedures that meet contract requirements and the criteria for ISO compliance. The QM is responsible for all aspects of ISO compliance and the establishment of internal processes/controls.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.
  • Conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, and work instructions.
  • Analyze, develop, evaluate, advise, or promote improvements in logistical programs.
  • Prepare, maintain, enforce, and update quality control plans to drive performance using ISO 9001:2018 standards across the program.
  • Provide external standard operating procedures (SOP) (CDRL PM-05) for the applicable Maintenance, Supply, and Transportation functional areas. The external SOPs shall contain at least processes and procedures to complete the tasks in each functional area and plans for scheduling and coordination with appropriate Government offices.
  • Achieve ISO compliance within 180 days of the notice to proceed date.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local environmental laws, statutes, regulations, executive orders, permits, Army regulations, as well as installation regulations.
  • Conduct root cause/corrective action analysis.
  • Establish operational metrics and key indicators for process control and ongoing quality process improvements.


Qualifications:

  • Must have 3 years' quality control experience.
  • Must have and maintain a secret security clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in a related field.
