Job Description:

The Calibration Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement and/or test equipment used across various electro-mechanical systems. This position involves performing precise calibration procedures in accordance with ISO/AS/Medical standards to maintain compliance and operational excellence. By meticulously documenting calibration results and technical data, the technician supports quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this role ensures that all equipment requiring calibration meets stringent technical specifications, enabling the organization to maintain high-quality products and services.

  • Perform calibration of test equipment and electro-mechanical devices following established ISO procedures and technical publications.
  • Perform calibration and ESD testing of benches, shelves, carts, and floors
  • Maintain detailed records of calibration results, equipment status, and maintenance activities to ensure traceability and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to update calibration procedures and improve calibration processes.
  • Coordinate and schedule outsourced calibration providers for equipment requiring calibration from a certified calibration technician.

Skills:

  • ensure all test equipment meets precise measurement standards, which is essential for product quality and compliance.
  • Knowledge of ISO procedures guides the technician in performing standardized calibration processes that align with industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with technical publications enables accurate interpretation of calibration instructions and documentation, supporting thorough record-keeping and reporting.
  • Ability to identify, plan, and execute all calibration requirements within planned intervals to ensure equipment remains in service for use.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with specialized training in electronics or calibration technology.
  • Proven experience in equipment calibration and test equipment handling.
  • Familiarity with ISO calibration procedures and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical publications and calibration documentation.
  • Associate degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Certification in calibration technology or related disciplines.
  • Experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing or laboratory environment.
  • Knowledge of advanced diagnostic tools and software used in calibration.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.

Candidate must be available to work Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with overtime and weekends as required
