Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ's relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client's needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.

Position Summary
GHJ Search & Staffing has partnered with a well-established nonprofit organization seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team.ย 
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily financial operations, accounting activities, and monthly close processes.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and budget-to-actual reporting.
  • Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements and operational reports to leadership.
  • Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, and finance staff.
  • Ensure monthly bank reconciliations and accounting entries are completed accurately and on time.
  • Partner with leadership on grant management, reporting, compliance, and fund accounting activities.
  • Lead annual audits, compliance reporting, and IRS Form 990 preparation processes.
  • Recommend and implement financial system improvements, internal controls, and staff training initiatives.
