Director of Investor Relations

Position Overview

A publicly traded, high-growth technology consulting and digital transformation company is seeking an experienced Director of Investor Relations to serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the company's communications with the investment community while helping articulate the organization's vision, financial performance, growth strategy, and long-term value proposition.

Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and executive leadership team, the Director of Investor Relations will lead the company's investor engagement strategy, cultivate relationships with institutional investors and equity analysts, and ensure consistent, transparent communication with the financial markets.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an investor relations professional who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, highly visible environment where they can influence the company's market perception and support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy that aligns with the company's financial objectives and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to communicate the company's strategy, business performance, competitive positioning, and financial results to the investment community.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, current shareholders, prospective investors, and sell-side research analysts.
  • Coordinate and lead investor outreach activities, including non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, one-on-one meetings, and virtual presentations.
  • Prepare investor-facing materials including quarterly earnings presentations, investor decks, fact sheets, executive messaging, earnings call scripts, and other external communications.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly earnings releases, annual reports, SEC-related communications, and other financial disclosures.
  • Monitor analyst coverage, investor sentiment, market trends, and peer activity while providing actionable insights to executive leadership.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial data providers and investor relations platforms to ensure accurate and timely market information.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Corporate Communications, and Executive Leadership to ensure consistency and compliance across all external communications.
  • Analyze shareholder activity and market intelligence to identify opportunities for expanding institutional ownership and enhancing shareholder engagement.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Investor Relations or a closely related field such as Equity Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Buy-Side Research.
  • Experience supporting a publicly traded company, preferably within technology, software, digital transformation, professional services, or financial services.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to sophisticated audiences.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to understand financial statements, valuation metrics, earnings performance, and capital markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with executive leadership, institutional investors, and Wall Street analysts.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced organization.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience supporting a NASDAQ- or NYSE-listed company.
  • Familiarity with investor relations platforms including Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, Ipreo, or similar financial market intelligence tools.
  • Experience within technology consulting, SaaS, software, digital engineering, fintech, or enterprise technology organizations is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and public company governance practices.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications are strongly preferred.
