We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Senior Technical Program Manager to lead new product development within the Epi Business Unit. This role will drive programs from early planning through commercialization, developing project plans, managing schedules and milestones, coordinating cross-functional resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical program management experience in complex product development environments, preferably within semiconductor capital equipment. This person should have deep understanding of product development processes, and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across hardware, software, systems integration, and multiple engineering disciplines. Strong analytical thinking, risk management, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder influence skills are essential to identify critical paths, mitigate risks early, solve complex problems, and drive program execution to closure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare project plans and drive projects from conception/planning through commercialization; contribute to strategies, processes, and resourcing.
  • Manage project schedule and task details using project management tools (reports, tracking charts, checklists, and scheduling software).
  • Coordinate cross-division resources to achieve on-time, within-budget performance; initiate/manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Drive cost and schedule performance of equipment for internal/external customers and vendors worldwide.
  • Participate on multifunctional design teams (internal/external/matrixed); provide technical input to achieve project goals.
  • Interface across divisions to define objectives, provide status updates, and prepare for release/deployment.
  • Provide engineering and business process expertise on standard programs/issues.
  • Identify and resolve project complications; develop solutions and drive closure.
  • Identify the critical path; drive early risk mitigation during program development.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex matrix environment spanning hardware, software, and systems integration across multiple engineering disciplines to meet program requirements and timelines.
  • 10-15 years of technical program management experience in semiconductor capital equipment
  • Experience with Epi, and integrated system experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering. Strong technical capability with program management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of product development processes.
  • Ability to interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; able to lead others to solve complex problems and identify innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; able to communicate difficult concepts and influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management, milestone planning, and timeline enforcement.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
