Job description


The Role: 

The role of the Agile Program Manager is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Manager to help lead critical Development initiatives and work closely with agile delivery teams. These initiatives will support the rapid growth of Forge through the successful delivery of new products and product enhancements. This role will work closely with many cross-functional delivery teams and other supporting functions to coordinate work efforts through a lean/agile process.

The Program Manager will be responsible owning the planning, reporting, and rollout of a portfolio of related projects while engaging with the team on day-to-day agile ceremonies aswell as quarterly planning.The effective candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects in a fast-paced company. Additionally, the candidate will have a firm understanding of lean and agile project management principles and techniques.


Location: This role requires 2-3 days a week in office in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile Ceremonies, lead teams through quarterly planning.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end plans and ensure we deliver on our quarterly
  • objectives.
  • Manage cross-functional programs in a matrix organization.
  • Actively identify risks, inefficiencies, and resolve cross-team issues.
  • Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks.
  • Define and own metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Communicate delivery progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with a wide range of teams and functions across Forge.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience in technical project or program environments
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • Experience in Project Management, Technical Program Management, or Agile Program Management
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, prioritize needs, and build strong working relationships
  • Track record of holding teams and individuals accountable to deliverables
  • Skilled in project planning, forecasting, and progress tracking
  • Systematic and analytical problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication skills with a strong sense of ownership and drive

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • Fintech, financial services, or regulated industry experience
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence
  • Report and dashboard building

For residents of San Francisco, CA the annual salary range for this role is $140,000-$165,000 annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors
