Global Invoice Operations Manager
We're partnering with a growing international organization seeking a Global Invoice Operations Manager to lead invoicing strategy, process improvement, and billing operations across multiple business lines. This role will drive invoice accuracy, strengthen controls, improve customer experience, and support global finance operations.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and oversee end-to-end invoicing operations across multiple regions and business units
  • Develop and improve billing processes, policies, controls, and performance metrics
  • Monitor invoice accuracy, timeliness, and quality while identifying areas for improvement
  • Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Tax, and IT teams to resolve billing issues and streamline processes
  • Lead invoice quality reviews, reporting, and root cause analysis initiatives
  • Manage escalations related to invoicing discrepancies, customer disputes, and billing exceptions
  • Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement projects
  • Support compliance, internal controls, audits, and financial reporting requirements
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure invoicing performance and operational effectiveness
  • Lead and mentor billing or invoicing team members while influencing cross-functional stakeholders globally
What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, order-to-cash, finance operations, or related areas
  • Previous leadership or team management experience
  • Strong knowledge of invoicing processes, billing operations, and financial controls
  • Experience working across multiple business units, regions, or countries
  • Proven ability to improve processes, implement controls, and drive operational efficiencies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience working with ERP systems and reporting tools
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting global finance or shared service operations
  • Exposure to compliance, audit, and internal control environments
  • Experience with process automation, business intelligence tools, and dashboard reporting
  • CPA, CMA, MBA, Lean/Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are a plus
