Job description

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our team in Moncure, NC. This is a hands-on, versatile position supporting several areas of our operations, including our warehouse, shop, fleet, regional store, property, and RV park.


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with their hands, driving, and having different responsibilities from day to day.


Responsibilities

Warehouse & Shop

Organize and maintain the warehouse and shop

Receive, organize, stock, and put away parts, materials, and supplies

Assist with inventory counts and keeping inventory organized

Load and unload trucks, trailers, equipment, and materials

Keep the shop, warehouse, yard, and work areas clean and safe

Assist technicians and other team members with tools, equipment, and materials

Parts Running, Deliveries & Equipment

Pick up and deliver parts, tools, materials, and equipment

Run parts and supplies to technicians and job sites

Make local and regional deliveries and pickups

Drive company vehicles and transport non-CDL equipment as needed

Run errands and assist with various company needs as they come up

Fleet & Equipment Maintenance

Assist with basic fleet and equipment maintenance

Keep company vehicles and equipment clean and organized

Help coordinate vehicles and equipment that need service or repairs

Perform basic preventative maintenance and inspections as needed

Help maintain an organized shop and equipment area

Grounds & Property Maintenance

Perform general grounds and property maintenance

Mowing, weed eating, cleanup, and other outdoor maintenance

Assist with basic repairs and upkeep around company properties

Help keep buildings, parking areas, storage areas, and grounds clean and presentable

Regional Store Support

Help stock and organize merchandise and supplies in our regional store

Assist with receiving and putting away store inventory

Help with inventory counts and tracking products

Keep store and storage areas clean and organized

Assist with retail activities and customer needs from time to time

Help with other store operations as needed

RV Park Support

Perform routine RV park meter readings

Change and maintain water filters as scheduled

Assist with basic maintenance and upkeep throughout the RV park

Help identify and report maintenance issues

Assist with supplies, equipment, grounds, and other day-to-day RV park needs

Requirements

Valid driver's license required

Good driving record

Comfortable driving company vehicles and transporting non-CDL equipment

Reliable and able to report to work consistently

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors

Able to lift and move parts, tools, materials, and equipment

Basic mechanical and maintenance knowledge is a plus

Experience with warehouse work, vehicle maintenance, landscaping, equipment, retail, inventory, or general maintenance is a plus

Organized and able to work independently

Comfortable interacting with customers when assisting with retail activities

Willing to learn and help wherever needed

Dependable, flexible, and able to handle changing priorities

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a versatile, dependable person who isn't afraid to jump in wherever help is needed. This isn't a position where every day will look exactly the same.


One day may involve organizing the warehouse and running parts to a job site. Another may include mowing, helping with a vehicle, stocking the regional store, making deliveries, taking RV park meter readings, changing water filters, or helping another part of the company with a project.


The right person doesn't need to be an expert in every area. We are looking for someone who is reliable, mechanically inclined, organized, willing to learn, and ready to work.
