As a Shop & Inventory Helper, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly every day. In this handson role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment, support inventory accuracy, pack PPE orders, assist technicians, and run essential errands. If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and supporting a fastmoving operation, this is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful impact.


Pay Range: $16-17 per hour


  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel-powered pile drivers, fleet vehicles, and heavy equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems  
  • Complete Gayk PMI (Preventative Maintenance Inspection) work orders and learn to maintain accurate digital records using computer systems 
  • Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, supporting emergency repair requests both in-shop and on-site 
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and safety inspections under supervision 
  • Support general building maintenance duties including plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and facility repairs as directed 
  • Assist field operations through additional tasks such as packing orders and shipping supplies to crews 
  • Travel to job sites when required to support equipment repairs and maintenance with experienced technicians 
  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company standards while developing independence and teamwork skills 

  • Maintain overall shop organization and housekeeping
  • Put away tools and equipment in proper storage locations
  • Assist with inventory counting and cycle counts
  • Pack and prepare PPE orders for distribution
  • Assist the Tool & Equipment Manager with errands and operational needs
  • Support technicians with tasks when needed
  • Maintain a clean driving record to operate company vehicles for errands and material pickup
  • Follow all company safety procedures and shop protocols
  • This role will evolve over time.

Physical Expectations

  • Indoor warehouse facility with regular exposure to dust, fumes, odors, varying temperatures, and machinery noise.
  • Fast-paced environment with heavy machinery operation including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.

Physical Expectations

  • Intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting materials up to 50+ pounds.
  • Ability to bend, squat, reach, push, and pull equipment throughout the facility from floor to overhead storage areas.
