What You'll Do
  • Operate mobile equipment such as Forklifts, overhead cranes, etc
  • Communicate and coordinate with crew members to sustain a quality finished product that meets or exceeds customer expectations and is sustained within specifications
  • Correct loading of finished product bundles onto a flatbed trailer
  • Properly read and execute "pick ticket" loading instructions and recognize the distinction between products
  • Execute standard operating procedures when loading trucks and railcars
  • Ability to properly use scanner equipment to scan material into inventory and onto shipments
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
  • Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times including proper wearing of company PPE
  • Understand start up, shutdown, and emergency procedures
  • Responsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work area
  • Ability to troubleshoot work related problems using job knowledge, experience, and by communicating with others 
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 1 year field experience in either heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane required
  • Must be able to work a 12 hour shift, which includes overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for duration of a shift, up to 12 hours; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
  • Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes, and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication skills required. Must read, speak and understand English language in verbal and written communication

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
