The Senior Merchandise Allocatoris responsible fordistribution and in-season management of Men'sClothingfor U.S. and CA stores. This includes initial allocation and replenishment flow of inventory for theappropriate balanceof sales & inventory levels throughend-of-life cycle. Understands the relationship of merchandise assortment planning and allocation needed to meet target financial plans and profitability. Collaborates with Management for information needed for execution.

What you can expect:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

  • Distributes merchandise to stores at style | color | size | fit | price level based on business trends, reporting analysis and management objectives

  • Prepare, recommend, and communicate weekly product performance from BIS merchandise selling reports to understand any shifts in business and react accordingly.Presents key findings to management

  • Re-allocates product as necessary based on shifting business trends related to business objectives

  • Creates andmaintainsweekly reports on allocation status, open order tracking by collection seasonally

  • Understands full product life cycle fortimelyexecution ofinitialdelivery,replenishment,and liquidation strategies

  • Monitor sales and update management on replenishment strategy for all seasonal, and key item programs

  • Monitor exceptions on merchandise inventory stock levels and recommends necessary adjustments

  • Communicates directly with storesregardingconsumer needs, special orders, and stock inquiries

  • Suggest,recommends,and executes product category markdowns, store-to-store transfers, and merchandise consolidations based on sales performance

  • Conduct in depth style, color, size,fit,and price level selling analysis regularly foroptimumproduct performance

  • Collaborate with various resources to conduct daily responsibilities (i.e.Buyers, Planners, Wholesale, DistributionCenter,and Retail Store Managers)

System Technology

  • Utilizes SAP Merchandising Systems: BIS Reporting, Initial Allocation, Replenishment, Order tracking

  • Utilizes SAP | AFS for merchandise inquiry management

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's Degreeor equivalent

    • 4+years of retailand/ormerchandising experience

    • 2+ years retail allocation experience
    • Highly organized and self-motivated

    • Strong communicationskills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

The expected base pay range for this position is from $60,000 - $70,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the pay range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained.Market and organizational factors are also considered.
