What does an inventory accountant do?

An inventory accountant is responsible for managing and reconciling inventory records, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and valuation. They analyze inventory data, prepare reports, and collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory control and compliance with accounting standards, often using software like ERP systems.
