Position Overview

We are seeking an Inventory Accountant to support inventory accounting, operational analysis, and strategic business initiatives across a growing organization. This role goes beyond traditional accounting, offering significant exposure to operations, inventory management, process improvement, and executive leadership.

  • Support month-end close and inventory-related accounting activities

  • Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and reporting
Field Data Collection & Analysis
  • Gather and analyze operational data across 20+ locations
  • Partner with field and operations teams to understand business performance
  • Investigate discrepancies and provide actionable insights
  • Support reporting and operational decision-making
Strategic Projects & Process Improvement
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives
  • Support acquisition and integration activities
  • Provide analytical support for forecasting and special projects
  • Participate in cross-functional efforts that drive business performance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • General ledger and month-end close experience preferred
  • Exposure to inventory accounting, manufacturing, construction, distribution, or cost accounting environments is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both accounting and operational teams
  • Advanced Excel skills are a plus
