Job Summary:

Serves as the primary contact for a specific compliance program. Creates and classifies reports, issues communications, assists with creation and maintenance of manuals and public information, supports training on compliance program, and completes unit administrative paperwork in support of a specific compliance program to ensure compliance with institutional rules and or laws/regulations.

Job Description:

  • The Compliance Specialist (Title IX investigator/trainer) will assist in managing compliance with Title IX and would have a key role in ensuring compliant processes related to how EORC manages complaints and resolution processes.

  • The Compliance Specialist (Title IX investigator/trainer) will also assist in conducting investigations as needed and will execute ongoing investigations under the University's Title IX or Interpersonal Violence and Sexual Misconduct policies.

  • The Compliance Specialist will prioritize Title IX compliance work but will also assist in managing Title VI and Title VII investigations and training as needed.

  • The role would include offering training to relevant campus partners and students, assisting in investigations and resolution processes, and ensuring students receive relevant accommodations and supportive measures.

Job Responsibilities:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education - Advanced degree (J.D., Master's in relevant area, etc.)
  • Experience - Direct experience conducting investigations related to policy or legal compliance.
  • Priority consideration will be given to candidates who include a cover letter articulating their particular interest in this role.
