Job Description

The Recruitment Operations Specialist, under supervision, provides customer, department, and administrative support for departments within Recruitment and Enrollment Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, plan, and execute Warrior Preview Days (open house events), including coordinating logistics, communications, and event follow-up.

  • Organize and manage on-campus events such as application drives, collaborating with relevant departments for outreach and engagement.

  • Oversee daily operations of the Welcome Center, ensuring a welcoming environment and high-quality customer service for all visitors.

  • Coordinate campus tours, including scheduling and preparation of tour materials.

  • Supervise, train, and schedule student workers who staff the Welcome Center and conduct campus tours, providing ongoing support and guidance.

  • Build out Transfer Central accounts to support prospective transfer students, with accurate data tracking in CRM systems.

  • Assist with recruitment events both on and off campus, as directed by the Assistant Director of Recruitment, supporting logistics and event execution.

  • Manage the main recruitment email inbox, promptly and professionally responding to student inquiries and providing accurate information.

  • Support walk-in visitors by answering questions and assisting students with application submissions and enrollment processes.

  • Prepare recruitment and outreach materials to support university enrollment initiatives.

  • Review current and prospective student enrollment records for accuracy and compliance, communicating status and next steps as needed.

  • Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and student-centered environment that promotes the university's mission of access, service, and student success.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Enrollment Management leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, database and presentation software programs.

  • Verbal and written communication skills.

  • Customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and detail-oriented.

  • Ability to work individually or as a team. Ability to organize and make decisions.

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • One year of related experience.

Salary: $43,888

Hours: Monday - Friday; 8am to 5pm; night and weekends as needed.

Supervision of Others: This position does not supervise employees.

Work Location: This is not a remote position. The selected candidate will be required to work on campus.
