Job Details:

SUMMARY:

This dynamic role leads the planning and execution of the Maintenance Training Program-an essential function that strengthens the skillset, safety culture, and long-term success of the maintenance team. You will step into a position that blends technical expertise with hands-on teaching, providing impactful training in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, refrigeration, and other critical maintenance disciplines.


In this role, you'll guide new and experienced team members through structured training, develop and maintain training materials, manage student records, and coordinate class schedules,which will include flexing your schedule to work all shifts in order to accommodate training for all workers.You'll interface with vendors to enhance course content, lead safety instruction for the maintenance department, and support hands-on training assessments that ensure our maintenance workforce is prepared for the demands of a fast-paced industrial environment.

You may also be asked to assist as a floor supervisor when necessary.

Every team member contributes to a culture of safety-and this position plays a meaningful role in reinforcing both personal and food safety standards across the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma GED required.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years industrial maintenance experience. Must have completed Level 8 in the Tyson Foods Maintenance Training Program.

Computer Skills: Competent in Microsoft Excel Word; knowledge of Tyson SAP-Plant Maintenance preferred.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to successfully interface with all levels of the plant organization.

Certification: Certification in any applicable training topics or techniques is a plus.

Travel: 1-5 trips per year as the need arises.

Special Skills: Proven good safety and attendance record along with strong management skills.

Shift: Must be able to work split shifts to cover training with all shifts.
