Overview
TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a Staffing Operations Analyst Intern to support our dynamic Staffing team in an experiential learning Academic Internship (unpaid). The Staffing Operations Analyst (Intern) supports the Staffing team's day-to-day operational workflows and reporting. This role focuses on time-off request tracking, travel expense reimbursement processing, and onboarding/offboarding coordination, while also contributing to staffing headcount and travel cost analytics through dashboards and trend analysis. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  1. Staffing Operations Support
  • Track and maintain time-off requests for Staffing-supported resources; ensure submissions are complete, properly logged, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support employee onboarding/offboarding operations by coordinating checklists, tracking status, and ensuring timely completion of required steps (access requests, equipment steps, documentation, and notifications as applicable).
  • Maintain documentation of operational processes and continuously improve trackers and workflows to reduce manual effort and error rates.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Staffing leadership team as needed.
  1. Travel Expense Reimbursement & Travel Cost Operations
  • Process and track travel expense reimbursement requests, validating completeness, policy alignment (when applicable), and required backup documentation.
  • Maintain a log of travel expenses and reimbursement status (submitted → approved → processed → completed).
  • Identify recurring issues (missing receipts, late submissions, incorrect coding) and propose process improvements.
  1. Dashboards, Reporting & Analysis
    • Build and maintain dashboards to visualize:
    • Staffing headcount (by team/project/location/category as available)
    • Travel cost trends (monthly/quarterly trends, top cost drivers, outliers)
    • Reimbursement cycle time and bottlenecks
    • Perform travel cost analysis and produce periodic insights (e.g., month-over-month changes, cost concentration, anomalies).
    • Create weekly/monthly summaries for Staffing leadership with key trends, risks, and recommended actions.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business Analytics, Business Administration, Psychology, Finance, Accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, filtering, basic formulas).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple operational trackers simultaneously.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable following up on missing information politely but persistently.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Traits:
  • Experience with Power BI (or Tableau) for dashboarding and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with basic data concepts (data cleaning, validation, trend analysis).
  • Basic SQL knowledge is a plus (not required).
