Job Title: Summer Production Intern
Department: Manufacturing
Reports To: Manufacturing Manager
Status: Non-Exempt
Job Type: Internship โ€“ Temporary (Summer)

Job Summary

The Production Intern position is a great opportunity for one to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. The intern will assist the Production Team with basic tasks to support the assembly of temperature and pressure instruments. This role is designed to introduce students to a professional workplace, teach the importance of safety and teamwork, and build foundational job skills.


Essential Functions
  • Help with organizing parts, tools, and workstations to support the production team.

  • Learn how to safely handle materials and follow basic assembly instructions.

  • Support team members with simple tasks, such as labeling or packaging products.

  • Keep work areas clean and follow safety guidelines at all times.

  • Shadow experienced employees to learn how products are made.

  • Follow the directions of the Production Leadsย and ask questions to better understand the work.

Qualifications
  • No prior work experience is required - training will be provided.

  • Willingness to learn, follow directions, and be a dependable team member.

  • Positive attitude and interest in how things are built or made.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
