Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member
Position Overview
Shana Nelson State Farm is hiring a full-time Account Associate in San Jose, CA for someone who wants to build a long-term career in insurance. This is a remote position with hands-on training and coaching from a local agency team that values consistency, reliability, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Contact prospective customers, present coverage options, and follow up to write new business
- Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the agency system
- Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals
- Participate in product training and licensing coursework
Qualifications
- Active insurance license required (Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health)
- Prior remote work experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable on camera and conducting video appointments (required)
- Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
- Highly organized and self-motivated, able to manage your day independently
- Coachable and willing to follow established processes and documentation standards
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- State Farm or insurance agency experience a plus

Pay range: $50,000-$85,000 per year (high performers $100,000+)
