Salary Range

132,400 - 251,600 USD

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the execution of multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) within the CEC DA/ES program, facilitating alignment between teams, stakeholders, and program objectives.
  • Drive synchronization across ARTs and ensure program increments (PIs) stay on track.
  • Manage the planning and execution of Program Increment (PI) events, including PI Planning, System Demos, Sprint Reviews, and Inspect and Adapt (I&A) workshops.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve cross-team risks, dependencies, and impediments to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Collaborate with Product Release Managers, Release Train Engineers, System Architects, and Product Owners to ensure the program backlog is well‑defined, prioritized, and aligned with customer needs.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the Solution Train, ARTs, and external stakeholders, promoting transparency and alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing SAFe best practices, fostering a culture of Lean‑Agile principles, and mentoring teams on Agile methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with RTX processes and standards, while delivering high‑quality solutions in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
Qualifications

Must Have

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in large‑scale program management or leadership roles, including 3+ years in a SAFe environment.
  • SAFe Solution Train Engineer certification or equivalent experience.
  • Deep understanding of SAFe principles, roles, and responsibilities, as well as Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or equivalent platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs with multiple dependencies, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse teams.
  • Typical requirement of a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or related industries.
  • Deep knowledge of systems engineering, software development, and large‑scale solution integration.
  • Familiarity with Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) or similar systems.
  • Prior experience working with geographically distributed teams.
