Vista Equity Partners Management

Job description

Position Summary
Capital & Partner Solutions (CAPS) manages all capital formation and strategic partnership efforts for investment offerings across Vista Equity Partners. The CAPS team is responsible for product strategy, fundraising, relationship management, and the investor experience across institutional and private wealth channels.
The Private Wealth Solutions (PWS) team within CAPS is focused on raising capital from registered investment advisors, family offices, private banks, independent broker dealers, wirehouses, and other private wealth channel partners across the United States. The Family Office & RIA Coverage Team is a lean, high-performance group that operates with a strong bias toward velocity, preparation, and commercial execution.
This role is an entry point into private markets fundraising for a driven, early-career professional. This associate will support the Family Office & RIA Coverage Team across investor servicing, operational execution, and sales support - developing deep knowledge of Vista's platform, funds, and investor universe in the process. For the right person, this role is designed to provide a platform for growth. As competency and confidence develop, there is a natural path toward client-facing responsibilities and direct sales.
We are looking for someone who is hungry, organized, AI-native in how they work, and genuinely excited about private markets as a career.
Responsibilities
Investor Servicing and Client Support
  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound LP requests, managing diligence inquiries, custom materials, and DDQ processes from initiation through completion.
  • Support Coverage Officers in preparing for client meetings, conferences, and calls - including briefing memos, meeting notes intake and follow up and event preparation.

Sales Support and Pipeline Development
  • Support the Sr. Internal Sales Associate and Coverage Officers in identifying, prioritizing, and engaging warm leads across the RIA and family office universe.
  • Maintain Salesforce pipeline data with accuracy and discipline - all activities, contacts, and opportunities logged and current at all times.
  • Build and maintain consolidated warm lead lists by aggregating inputs across multiple data sources into a single prioritized view for the internal sales team.
  • Assist with outbound outreach efforts under the guidance of the Sr. Internal Sales Associate, developing direct sales skills over time as the role evolves.
  • Support territory mapping and analytics to identify high-potential prospects and inform channel strategy.

Operations and Infrastructure
  • Coordinate conference and event logistics with the Vista events team, including pre-event attendee triage, 1:1 meeting scheduling, and post-event follow-up execution.
  • Own the team's event budget tracking and expense reconciliation, maintaining visibility into channel spend and event ROI.
  • Serve as the primary interface between the Family Office & RIA team and Vista's business operations, marketing, and product teams - managing deliverables and internal approvals.
  • Identify and build automation workflows using AI tools to reduce repetitive operational friction across the team's day-to-day - this is an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time project.
  • Collaborate with the Product teams to remain coordinated around fundraising processes, investor engagement, and key internal updates.

Qualifications
Required
  • 1 to 2 years of professional experience.
  • Genuine interest in private markets and financial services as a career.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail - this role requires managing multiple workstreams simultaneously across a multi-region coverage team and many internal partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. This person will be interfacing with investors and senior internal stakeholders from an early stage.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency - not just as a user, but as a builder. Evidence of building tools, automating workflows, or thinking systematically about how to remove operational friction.
  • Self-starter mentality with a strong sense of accountability. Views no task as too small and approaches every assignment as an opportunity to learn.
  • New York based. This is an in-office role working alongside the FO/RIA Coverage Team.

Preferred
  • Prior internship or work experience in financial services, investor relations, asset management, or a technology-adjacent field.
  • Demonstrable skill set in building AI-native tools using platforms such as Claude that go beyond experimentation and drive real enterprise value.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
  • Experience with Fintrx, PitchBook, or other private markets research tools.
  • Comfort working with large datasets and synthesizing information from multiple sources into a clean, actionable output.
  • Prior exposure to private equity, private credit, or alternative investment products.

About This Opportunity
This role sits at the center of one of the most active private wealth fundraising teams in the alternatives industry. The Family Office & RIA Coverage Team at Vista operates with a higher degree of sophistication, speed, and AI-enabled infrastructure than most comparable teams in the market. You will learn the business of private markets capital formation from the inside - working directly alongside Coverage Officers on live fundraises across Vista's full fund platform.
The expectation is that the right person grows quickly. For an associate who demonstrates strong execution, commercial instincts, and an appetite for client-facing work, there is a clear path to expanded sales responsibilities and a long-term career within the CAPS organization.
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $125,000-135,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
