Job description

The Planning Team Leader for Guardian Wealth Partners is a leadership role responsible for building, leading, and scaling a team of advisors within our feebased Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). This role owns the client journey for prospects and clients originating from other business lines, ensuring a consistent, highquality experience across education, planning, and investment implementation.

This role will lead advisors delivering holistic, goalsbased advice through a combination of fully digital and hybrid engagement models, serving clients across mass affluent, affluent, and highnetworth (HNW) segments. This individual will be accountable for advisor performance, client outcomes, growth, and alignment with the firm's value proposition.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Growth Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team of (centralized/in-house) advisors responsible for converting inbound leads into longterm advisory relationships

  • Own sales strategy and execution across multiple client segments, including digitalfirst, hybrid, and hightouch advisory models

  • Drive growth across subscriptionbased planning, feebased financial planning, and feebased investment management offerings

  • Partner closely with other business lines to optimize lead flow, qualification, handoffs, and conversion

Client Journey & Experience

  • Deliver on a defined client journey by client segments from initial engagement through onboarding, planning, and ongoing advice. Develop continuous improvements to the client journey

  • Ensure a consistent experience across digital planning tools, fully digital workflows, and hybrid advisorled engagements

  • Champion a clientcentric, educationdriven approach that builds trust, clarity, and longterm partnerships with clients

  • Ensure advice delivery is aligned with fiduciary standards and the firm's holistic planning philosophy

Advisor Management & Development

  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a highperforming team of advisors

  • Set clear performance expectations, sales goals, and activity metrics aligned with firm objectives

  • Develop a way to track performance/activity metrics and goals to utilize as coaching and share with senior leadership

  • Foster a strong sales and advice culture focused on collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement

  • Support advisors through training and coaching in building consultative skills across planning, education, and investment implementation

Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in wealth management, advisory sales, or financial planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

  • Deep understanding of feebased advisory models, holistic financial planning, and investment management

  • Experience leading advisor teams across multiple client segments, including affluent and HNW

  • Proven ability to scale sales organizations using digital and hybrid engagement models

  • Strong working knowledge of RIA regulatory and fiduciary standards

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or CFP, CFA, or similar credentials preferred

Travel - 25%

Salary Range:

$132,420.00 - $217,545.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
