Position Overview:

As a People Specialist at Fifth and Harrison HR Consulting, you will perform tactical HR generalist work, supporting clients in various day-to-day HR functions. This contract position offers the flexibility to work part-time or full-time, in either fractional or interim roles, depending on your availability and client needs. You will be an essential part of the HR team, ensuring that the fundamental HR processes run smoothly and efficiently for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and departing employees.
  • Handle employee relations tasks such as addressing employee inquiries, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on HR policies.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and communications with providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support payroll processing, ensuring that all data is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Assist with compliance-related tasks, including monitoring labor law updates and ensuring clients adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
