About the role:

As a Supplier Performance Manager, APx Supply Chain Turbine Island Major Equipment you will manage a multinational work group. The group is responsible for the technical supplier assessment, supplier development and supplier oversights delivering direct and complex material to Westinghouse (Mechanical, Electrical and I&C).

This hybrid role will report to the Delivery Stream WBS Director and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. We could consider other Westinghouse locations as well.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide oversite and direction to a distributed team of engineers and technologists located in North America, Europe and Asia.
  • Recruit new talent for long-term needs including interns/co-ops and new hire engineers and technologists.
  • Prepare and implement training plans, especially to help develop next generation of engineers to ensure future WEC talent strength.
  • Ensure resources are trained, qualified, and supporting the Supplier Selection and Development.
  • Identify engineering priorities by assessing and determining project goals, execution time, and implementation costs.
  • Lead engineering team providing review of technical documents, oversight of suppliers, managing supplier scorecards, and ensuring supplier readiness for operations. Develop Oversight Plan for major equipment supplier manufacturing.
  • Realize and incorporate best practices, lessons learned, and improvement in project performance and margins.
  • Provide management team status, feedback and action plans by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing engineering data and trends.
  • Engage with external customers, partners and WEC senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical / I&C Engineering or Industrial Engineering in a related technical production and manufacturing discipline, or equivalent with business experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with the Pressurized Equipment Manufacturing and Regulation
  • Minimum 10 years of strong and progressively more responsible leadership experience required.
  • We prefer experience managing engineering teams.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400 to $163,000 per year.

No relocation will be provided for this position.
