Job description

This role is the analytical engine of Whole Foods Market's social and influencer program, owning our reporting infrastructure and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. The Performance Manager will build and maintain our reporting platform, lead monthly performance reporting, and serve as the strategic bridge between data and creative, helping the team understand what's working, what's not, and how to evolve our content approach accordingly. A strong analytical thinker with a storyteller's instinct, this person turns numbers into narratives that drive decisions.
Key job responsibilities
Reporting Platform Ownership - Own and manage WFM's social and influencer reporting platform end-to-end, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and scalability across the team.
Monthly Performance Reporting - Lead the development and delivery of monthly performance reports, synthesizing data across platforms and programs into clear executive-ready summaries.
Creative Insights & Optimization - Translate video view data and content performance metrics into actionable recommendations that inform and evolve our creative strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Data Storytelling - Build compelling data narratives that connect performance trends to business outcomes, helping stakeholders understand the "so what" behind the numbers.
Cross-Functional Partnership - Collaborate with the Influencer, Community, and Content teams to ensure reporting frameworks reflect program goals and surface insights that drive strategy.
A day in the life
You'll spend your day living in the data, pulling platform analytics, building dashboards, and identifying the trends that matter most. You'll translate video view patterns and engagement signals into clear creative recommendations, partnering closely with the Influencer and Community Specialists to connect performance to execution. At month's end, you'll own the reporting package that goes to leadership, telling the story of what our content is doing and where we should go next.
About the team
You'll join Whole Foods Market's Social Media & Influencer Marketing team as Performance Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Owned & Influencer, and partnering daily with the Influencer, Community, and Content teams to ensure data drives every creative decision we make.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience managing reporting and analysis
- Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data

- Experience with marketing analytics
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership
- Grocery, food, or lifestyle category experience
- Familiarity with video performance metrics across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube
