Sports Marketing Internship – Community Engagement & Digital Media (College Pipeline Opportunity)

Location: Coral Springs

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Sports Marketing Intern to support community engagement efforts and assist in building D1 Training’s digital presence. This role is ideal for students who want practical experience they can confidently speak to in interviews and future career opportunities.
Core Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Assist in planning and executing local events, school partnerships, and grassroots marketing initiatives
  • Represent D1 Training at community events and activations
  • Help develop relationships with local schools, teams, and organizations
Social Media & Content Development

  • Capture and create photo/video content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
  • Assist in planning and scheduling content aligned with brand strategy
  • Contribute creative ideas to increase engagement, reach, and follower growth
Marketing Execution & Brand Growth

  • Support in-gym promotions and campaigns designed to drive memberships
  • Assist in highlighting member success stories and facility culture
  • Track and report on basic marketing metrics (engagement, leads, event participation)
Learning Outcomes (What You’ll Be Able to Add to Your Resume)

  • Experience executing live marketing events and community activations
  • Content creation and social media management for a performance brand
  • Exposure to lead generation and customer acquisition strategies
  • Understanding of how marketing efforts directly impact revenue growth
Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled college student (Marketing, Sports Management, Business, Communications, or related field preferred)
  • Strong interest in sports, fitness, and brand marketing
