Position Overview

The McAdams Internship Program gives students the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals across our core service areas including civil engineering, land planning, transportation, landscape architecture, geomatics, environmental/water resources services, and construction administration. Interns gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from early conceptual design through final deliverables, while contributing meaningful work that supports our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on Active Projects Work alongside experienced team members to support real project deliverables and contribute to meaningful outcomes.
  • Engage in Creative ProblemSolving Participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings, offering ideas and perspectives that help shape project direction.
  • Build Technical Exposure Gain hands‑on experience with industry tools, workflows, and best practices used across McAdams'
  • Learn Through Mentorship Shadow mentors and team leaders to understand how projects move from concept to completion, including planning, design, and execution.
