What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Internship Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Internship Manager, you need a solid background in human resources, program management, and talent development, often supported by a degree in HR, business, or education. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, onboarding platforms, and performance evaluation tools is typically required. Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to mentor and motivate students help set outstanding Internship Managers apart.
