Job description

Unlockt Brands is the engine behind many of the K-beauty brands now thriving in U.S. retail channels.

We import, launch, and scale Asian beauty and wellness brands, including Round Lab, Sungboon Editor, Dr. Melaxin, Fino, Ohora, plus our nail brand, Heyhae, across e-commerce and brick & mortar stores.

Now, as we expand deeper into national retail (Target, Walmart, CVS, ULTA, TJX, etc), we are seeking a Korean-speaking Brand Operations Assistant to support day-to-day communication with brand partners in Korea and assist with operational execution across our B2B retail business. This role is critical in ensuring alignment between Korea-based brands and U.S. retail teams.

Responsibilities

Brand Communication

  • Act as a liaison between Korean brand partners and internal U.S. teams
  • Translate and communicate key updates, requests, and timelines,
  • Support coordination on product information, inventory updates, launch timelines, and samples
  • Follow up with brand partners to ensure timely responses and execution

Production & Inventory Support

  • Assist in tracking production timelines and coordinating with brand partners on manufacturing updates
  • Support inventory forecasting by maintaining and updating demand and inventory trackers
  • Track inbound shipments and coordinate updates with operations and sales teams
  • Support inventory allocation and planning across retail accounts

Operations & Retail Support

  • Assist with retail item set up by gathering and organizing product data (UPCs, pricing, specs, descriptions, etc) 
  • Support retailer submissions and ensure accuracy across systems
  • Track orders, shipments, and inventory updates
  • Coordinate product samples (prep, pack, ship, and track)
  • Additional administrative tasks as needed

Skills & Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience (internship or relevant experience acceptable)
  • Fluent in Korean and English (written and verbal)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
