Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages ECI safety  systems, processes and procedures to accomplish our vision of an accident free workplace
  • Maintain required information (OSHA 300 log, ISNetworld, safety observations program and email, etc) and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Enhance and delivery safety training programs to support internal and customer requirements.
  • Publish weekly toolbox talks and monthly safety reports.
  • Provide leadership for internal safety committees.
  • Provide support for the incident investigation process for all safety incidents.
  • Create a safety culture of engagement for all employees 
Requirements:

 The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety or occupational health or technical discipline with significant related experience and exposure to OSHA general industry requirements  (preferred)
  • Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a developed competency to influence others
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams including knowledge of basic facilitation techniques
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Must be an effective listener
