Professional Drug Safety Intern Jobs (NOW HIRING)

In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting the monitoring and reporting of product safety information, helping ensure that patients, healthcare providers, and regulatory authorities receive accurate and timely safety data. • Receive and process adverse event reports, technical complaints, and medical inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Perform case intake, triage, and tracking to ensure safety reports are handled accurately and efficiently.
• Enter and maintain case information within pharmacovigilance and adverse event databases.
• Document safety information clearly, accurately, and in accordance with established procedures.
• Coordinate the routing of cases and supporting documentation to internal stakeholders.
• Conduct quality review checks to ensure case files are complete, accurate, and compliant before submission.
• Follow up on outstanding cases to obtain missing information and ensure timely case closure.
• Manage safety databases, shared mailboxes, and electronic records to support operational efficiency.
• Coordinate translation services for reports received in non-English languages.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and process improvements.
• Support compliance with pharmacovigilance regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience working with databases, electronic records, or structured data entry systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work effectively in a highly regulated environment.

• Exposure to pharmacovigilance, drug safety, adverse event reporting, or regulatory affairs.
• Experience in customer service, call center operations, medical information, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environments.
• Familiarity with safety databases and adverse event tracking systems.
• Experience handling medical inquiries or product complaints.
• Background in biology, life sciences, healthcare, or related disciplines.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

This is a primarily remote position with occasional on-site attendance at the Port Washington facility for team meetings and company events, typically once or twice during the contract period. The role utilizes Microsoft Office, safety databases, and communication platforms extensively and operates within a structured, quality-focused environment where accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail are essential.

This is a Contract position based out of Port Washington, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
