Ever wonder how your sneakers, smartphone, favorite snacks, or lifesaving medicines travel across oceans to reach you? As a Sea Logistics Summer Intern, you'll explore how global trade really works behind the scenes-at Kuehne+Nagel, one of the world's top global 3PL companies.


This immersive internship program runs 10 to 16 weeks, depending on your academic schedule, and offers hands-on exposure to the fast-paced world of sea logistics and ocean freight forwarding. You'll learn directly from industry professionals, collaborate with a cohort of fellow interns, and gain real-world experience using logistics technology and systems that power global supply chains. Along the way, you'll participate in networking events, executive speaker sessions, and structured learning activities designed to help you grow personally and professionally.

How you create impact
  • Integrate into a team within one of our major business units - Sea Logistics
  • Learn Kuehne + Nagel systems, terminology, and business solutions used in day-to-day global operations
  • Assist with operational and administrative activities related to sea freight logistics
