Job description

About Us
We're on a mission to transform the $60bn tire industry - reimagining how it's delivered and experienced. A pioneer in automotive e-commerce, over the past four years since our acquisition, we've grown more than 10x, and we're continuing to scale aggressively through a buy-and-build strategy.
About the Role
This is a private equity / search fund internship focused on sourcing and evaluating acquisition targets to support our roll-up strategy. You'll work directly with senior leadership on the full deal lifecycle - from market mapping and target identification through outreach, diligence, and deal structuring. You'll own real work that directly shapes how we grow. Strong performers have the opportunity to convert to a full-time role in acquisitions, integrations, or executive operating positions within our portfolio.
What You'll Do
  • Source and evaluate acquisition targets across fragmented markets aligned with our roll-up thesis
  • Conduct market mapping, competitive analysis, and business performance assessments on potential targets
  • Build and maintain a proprietary deal pipeline, including outreach to business owners
  • Develop financial models and investment memos to support go/no-go decisions
  • Support due diligence processes and integration planning for active deals
  • Present findings and recommendations directly to the CEO and executive team

Who We're Looking For
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an MBA program
  • Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, search funds, consulting, or corporate development preferred
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, self-directed, and able to move quickly
  • Genuine interest in entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA) and operational investing
  • Available full-time for an 8-10 week summer internship

Why This Role
  • Direct exposure to the full acquisition process at a high-growth lower middle market company
  • Work closely with experienced operators and investors who have scaled the business 10x in four years
  • A real path to a full-time role - in deal execution, integration management, or as an operating leader within the business
  • Gain hands-on ETA experience that few internships provide
