Position Title: HRIS AI Architect
Location: Warren, MI or Austin, TX (Hybrid - 3 days in office per week)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Contract-to-Hire options available)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a senior-level HRIS AI Architect to deliver technical architecture and strategic solutions within General Motors' HR technology ecosystem. This role focuses on leveraging enterprise SaaS applications and artificial intelligence tools to design, streamline, and optimize end-to-end employee lifecycles. You will architect advanced AI-enabled solutions that transform core journeys such as onboarding, offboarding, relocation, job changes, performance management, and hiring.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect AI-enabled infrastructure solutions to directly support dynamic employee experience journeys.
Collaborate closely with third-party vendors, technical engineers, and corporate business partners to design solutions that seamlessly combine enterprise AI platforms with core SaaS applications.
Bridge technical and functional requirements across core HR business domains including HCM, Learning, Compensation, and Performance Management.
Required Qualifications:
Proven enterprise experience designing and deploying AI-driven solutions across major HR technology product suites (HCM, Learning, Compensation, Performance).
Strong background in systems integration, technical design patterns, and platform governance across Workday and its adjacent platforms.
Ability to map and present complex data flows, system integrations, and control points to executive and technical stakeholders.
 
Key Deliverables:
Technical architecture and solution design documentation establishing concrete patterns, standards, integration approaches, and design guardrails across Workday and connected platforms.
Comprehensive AI solution architecture diagrams for critical HR journeys (recruiting, performance, learning, employee support) detailing system relationships, data flows, and control environments.
