Job description

Human Resources Intern
Part-Time (20 hours per Week)
Position Summary
The Human Resources Intern provides administrative support to the HR department while gaining hands-on experience in human resources. The intern assists with onboarding, HR systems, employee records, orientation preparation, and other administrative functions that support daily HR operations.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist with new hire paperwork and onboarding documentation
  • Enter employee information into Paycor, Plex, and Talent LMS
  • Scan and electronically file HR records
  • Assist with answering phones
  • Take employee photos and upload them into Paycor
  • Run monthly lists for employee evaluations and sandlot letters
  • Create Sandlot letters, send out via paycor
  • Greet new hires arriving for orientation in Bay City
  • Assist with Lotis orientation sessions
  • Print graduation and training certificates
  • Maintain employee call-in log information
  • Order lunches for orientations, meetings, and training sessions
  • Prepare orientation packets and materials
  • Maintain organized employee files
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
